Scientific Information

One of the most interesting aspects of the XXIV international Iranian neurology congress (IINC) is the diversity of approaches presented. This allows for original solutions to be discussed for a wide range of problems, both on research and clinical management.

Needless to say, the contact between neurologists working in different countries is vital for such an exchange to take place.

Presentations are geared to various levels of skills, so that participants from a variety of backgrounds will have the chance to enrich their knowledge and enjoy the networking opportunities.

Delegates will find that there is an exciting range of subjects in main lectures, parallel sessions, forum, symposia and poster sessions.

We now look forward to the involvement of all participants, be it in open forums during all the sessions, or at a more personal “one to one” level.

THE XXIV IINC CONGRESS – HIGHLIGHTS

The wide range of topics included in the Program will be presented by international experts. Lectures, symposia, session summaries, and discussions will be led by experienced moderators while educational sessions and updates will summarize on the newest aspects. As customary, a considerable amount of platform time will be given over to discussion. A further opportunity is the Technical Exhibition, where novelties may be explored and where delegates will have the chance to liaise with industry representatives.

The Congress will address all aspects of Neurological disorders including basic science, genetics, differential diagnosis and therapeutic interventions.

PLENARY SESSIONS

There will be Plenary Sessions, covering the main topics of the Congress, delivered by leading clinical experts, basic scientists and other health care professionals.

INTERACTIVE SESSIONS

They are planned on   Tuesday and Wednesday Thursday and Friday programs. Debates will offer a lively and hopefully fruitful discussion on controversial issues.

EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS

They will cover all aspects of neurologic disease, and will serve the educational mission of the IINC.

ORAL POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Selected posters have been given the opportunity to present a 6-minutes short oral presentation of their abstract. During the lunch time

POSTERS

Authors are required to attach their posters to the appropriate poster board. Posters will be displayed with a daily rotation on, Wednesday 3 MAY and Thursday 4 May. Poster boards will be duly numbered and set up material will be provided by the Organizing Secretariat.

Dates and times of Poster Session discussions are indicated within the scientific program. Authors are expected to be present at their poster board during discussion.

Speakers are kindly requested to use “PowerPoint” (Windows or Macintosh/Apple) for their presentations.

This timing will allow your presentation to be downloaded onto the main computer.

 Target Audience

XXIV IINC  2017 is the global meeting place for physicians, researchers, scientists, clinicians and allied health experts with a wide range of expertise in the field of  Neurological disease Because of the diverse, clinically focused educational offering, participants are able to tailor the curriculum to meet the needs of international clinicians of all levels of experience

"A most educational experience for professionals in this field. The introductions of new technologies was impressive and I was especially intrigued by Dr. Ilkan's presentation on the improvements to the scanning tools. As someone who appreciates stylish jewelry, I especially enjoyed his warning regarding the potential for interference with sensitive scanning and detection tools. So while I may love my fashionable cz rings, they may indeed impact the output of some diagnostic tools in ways that everyone concerned needs to be aware of. We make patients remove any jewelry when they undergo certain tests, but we often aren't tuned into the effect our own rings and necklaces may have when in close proximity to those same scanning tools. The technicians are usually more aware of these issues and share their concerns. I posted a sign suggesting that all those who enter the spaces where sensitive diagnostics are performed should remove any jewelry. And those with implants like hip replacements should not approach the equipment. Definitely an appropriate wake up call." HF Jolkott

Iran is an ancient country with a history of civilization and artistic creation of over 3000 years. Cyrus (the king of Iran) wrote the first charter of the human rights some 2500 years ago. Since then Iran has been the land of peace, friendship, art and culture. It is a big country with a diverse climate. From the mountains blanketed with snow to the beautiful deserts and from the blue seas to broad pastures and green forests, it's all full of ancient works and Iranian civilization. Iran is a land of hospitality and warmness, with a rich, glorious and grand cultural heritage.

The country covers 1,600,000 square kilometers. It borders the beautiful Caspian Sea from the north and the warm Persian Gulf from the south. Iran today is both modern and ancient. It is the most populous and the second-largest country in the Middle East.

Iran has something to offer to everyone. From culture lovers to the adventurous. TEHRAN: A MODERN CITY IN THE HEART OF ANCIENT IRAN

Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the largest metropolitans of the world, and it is the country's largest economic center and the base for its large and small modern technological and industrial establishments. Located on the slopes of the mountains and at the foot of the magnificent Mount Damavand, it has been the country's capital city for over 200 years now. Tehran is pleasant, it derives its originality from its dry climate, always cool in the evening, the nearness of the mountains, its numerous parks and gardens where flowers blossom throughout the year, the alleys of trees in the avenues or even smaller streets, the water which runs down from the upper city along deep and wide gutters which look like small rivers during spring.

Despite spectacular development, Tehran has preserved its old charm and magic. It is a city where the pleasing harmony of different architectural styles and superb structures, combined with legendary hospitality blend into an unforgettable experience for visitors.
